At the Metropolitan Emergency Animal Clinic, we strive to provide your pet with the utmost in compassionate care. We understand that your pet is a member of the family and times of emergency can be very stressful. We promise to ease that stress as much as possible by providing twenty four hour care and open lines of communication. Your pet will receive a daily exam while in the hospital by one of our well qualified doctors and our sympathetic technicians will monitor your pet around the clock to ensure they are as comfortable and relaxed as possible while they heal. We will treat your pet with the same state-of-the-art care that we would give our own family members.

Emergency & Critical Care

We stand by around the clock ready to offer assistance whenever an emergency may arise. Our dedicated and experienced staff will work diligently to make your pet happy and healthy. Be it an injury, eating a foreign object or toxin, or just feeling down we want nothing more than to see a smile on your face and a responsive wag or purr from them.

Should your pet need to stay with us for a time they will be monitored closely by our technicians and doctors and will get scratches and kisses from everyone. We are also able to provide your pet with oxygen therapy, cardiac monitoring, and other specialized intensive care.

Surgical Care

Many emergencies do require immediate surgery such as gastric torsion (bloat), foreign bodies, intra-abdominal bleeding, and lacerations. We are equipped with the most up to date monitoring and surgical equipment. Our experienced team of doctors stands ready to do emergency surgery at all times.

Diagnostics and Imaging

We have a full in-house lab capable of testing the most common emergency illnesses such as liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases. We also offer complete blood counts, electrolyte monitoring, clotting profiles, and testing for the most common parasitic and viral infections.

The onsite availability of digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy allows our doctors the ability to quickly and accurately diagnose internal injuries and diseases.
